Seeing the light

1 photo

Montreal, CanadaSep 26, 2026

This black-and-white photo captures a quiet, contemplative scene inside what appears to be a church or chapel. Two tall, arched windows with a grid pattern allow bright light to stream into the dim interior, illuminating the tops of the wooden pews below. Small potted plants sit on the windowsills, adding a subtle touch of life to the serene, shadowy space. The high contrast between the bright windows and the dark pews creates a dramatic and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a caption about stillness, reflection, or quiet moments.
